The Controller
The Controller is the brain of the system. We recommend the Rainbird ESP and ESP-Si Series Controllers. These controllers can store up to two independent programs with a 2-, 3-, 5-day fixed, or a 7 day variable (weekday) custom schedule. They come with a rechargable Ni-Cad battery to ensure accurate time keeping even it the power fails. Remote controllers add convenience and flexibility.
	This ESP controller is designed for residential and light commercial systems. It can control up to 16 stations. The ESP contoller is plastic cased and can be used for both interior and exterior settings.
The ESP-Si controller is designed for residential sytems. It can control up to 8 stations. The ESP-Si controller is plastic cased and must be installed inside.
Why do we recomment these Rainbird Controllers: simplicity and durability. Programming these contollers is straight-forward, reducing our support costs. Dual indenpendent proramming means you do not have to water your flower beds like your lawn, saving your water and your plants. Small features like an overload fuse, grounding wire, and built-in MOVs (Metal Oxide Varistors) on the on the input and each valve station output helps protect your investment.
